We have already planted over 37000 trees, this equates to a mass of 464325KG.

We plant trees and lots of them. We plant trees for businesses and consumers primarily in Madagascar and Somerset in the UK. So far to date, we have planted over 37,000 trees. We plant 5 trees per month per member.

Why Madagascar?

Planting in Madagascar is one of the most cost-effective ways to plant trees this means your impact can go even further. We plant trees in Madagascar with a company called Eden Reforestation Projects - We make no profit from our tree planting schemes and give back ourselves.

The socio-economic benefits of reliable employment are significant. Parents who were once unable to put food on the table and pay their children’s school fees can now consistently provide healthy meals for their families and send their kids to school. Microenterprises pop up throughout the communities we work with, further improving the region’s economy.

Long-standing debts are paid off, releasing individuals from the bonds of their debtors. Restoration often creates a ripple effect, positively changing everything that surrounds it. When people’s lives change through employment and their land is brought back to life, entire communities thrive again.

What trees do we plant?

Mangroves are vital biodiversity hotspots. Because they help to filter coastal waters, they provide nutrient-rich habitats for a vast array of species around the world.. They provide many ecosystem services such as coastal protection from storm, reduction of shoreline and riverbank erosion, stabilizing sediments and absorption of pollutants.

Mangroves, like other coastal wetlands, are powerful carbon sinks. That is, they suck up carbon dioxide from the air to store in their roots and branches, as well as the sediment that collects around them.

How do we help communities at the same time? Our projects in Madagascar are run by Eden Reforestation Projects a non-profit whose mission is to provide fair-wage employment to impoverished villagers as agents of global forest restoration.

Eden hires local people to grow, plant, and guard to maturity the trees planted through funding from our community – on a massive scale. They have already planted 600 million trees. As well as restoring forest ecosystems, Eden’s “Employ to Plant” methodology results in multiple positive socioeconomic and environmental impacts.

Where they plant?

Although we plant trees mainly around the world. We wanted to plant in the UK as well so that we have a

site closer to home. We have planted over 100 trees here in the UK.

Of course planting in the UK is more expensive, but we are looking for more solutions as we develop as a business!

We also target businesses to plant packaged forests to offset their carbon! In these modern times, it has never been more important to look after the land which we call home, making sure we maintain our native ecosystems for years to come.

They don't just plant trees, their mission is to create diverse woodland habitats. To do this, they look to science to guide the way. Up-to-date findings help us to ensure the highest possible amount of carbon is sequestered where possible.
