THE GAIA FOREST IS CURRENTLY A BARREN WASTELAND
It is ex-Agricultural land in Somerset, but our goal is to restore it back to its natural habitat. This is thanks to our partnerships.
When we say barren wasteland., we mean a beautiful reclaimed field, that our partners at Tomorrows Forest are transforming into a diverse woodland habitat.
HAVE YOU HEARD OF TOMORROWS FOREST?
Creating Tomorrow's Forests to make it easy for you to make your impact on the planet and help us replace the lost forests of the UK. They started out planting almost eight million trees on large-scale sites for the forestry commission, private landowners and government, and have now decided to start projects in partnership with businesses and individuals.
We only ever plant in the UK because we believe our members should be able to see for themselves the impact that they are making. In these modern times, it has never been more important to look after the land which we call home, making sure we maintain our native ecosystems for years to come.
They don't just plant trees, their mission is to create diverse woodland habitats. To do this, they look to science to guide the way. Up-to-date findings help us to ensure the highest possible amount of carbon is sequestered where possible.
